Zimmerman Retail was founded by Arne Zimmerman. He has been active in the real estate sector since 1998.
After his international study at the Hospitality Business School in The Hague he first worked in Switzerland, amongst others at the Hapimag Company (Hotel und Appartmenthaus Imobilien Anlage A.G.)
After returning to the Netherlands he started as a project manager at WPM Shopping Centre Management where he learnt the profession of commercial management of shopping centres. After WPM he continued his career at SCM Shopping Centre Management, firstly as commercial manager and then as letting manager. Here he was amongst others responsible for the store expansion for more than 50 shops of the german company Bijou Brigitte in the Netherlands.
In 2007 he decided to change his employment into entrepreneurship en he became one of the founders of ZB retail. In 2014 he decided to start a new and entirely independent firm Zimmerman Retail.
